What a BULLY!!!

This is our newest Addition to our Family...! Her name is Lula and no she is not an Iams dog but yes she is an English Bulldog. We got to pick her up on July 15th...this is a funny story because the day that we picked her up is the first day of my pregnancy. I think that that is TOTALLY CRAZY!!! When we got Lula everybody was like " I wish that Rusty and Trista would get over this fetish of dogs and start having a family"...I felt like screaming " We are trying to..." ;) So four weeks after we brought Lula home, I found out that I was Pregnant.

Lula could see herself in our fireplace and was just about ready to attack the invading dog in our house.

OH!!! she looks so fat!!! Which one?
This is Lula chilling out on the dash board!

When we had just barely got her she was no bigger than my shoe!

She looks innocent, but watch out she'll fool ya!

Guess What???

So most of you probably know, but I wanted to post it on the blog anyway!!! I am 9 weeks prego...and this picture was taken at 8 weeks when we found a heartbeat. I miscarried my first pregnancy almost a year ago, and the doctor said that once you have a documented heartbeat, then I only have like a 1% chance of miscarrying. So all is well and Rusty and I are smiles from Ear to Ear...no matter how sick I am. I will be due April 21st, 2010. This is perfect, so that I can have the baby and take Maternity leave for the rest of the school year.

SuMMer VaCaTionS!!!

Rusty on our backpacking trip at the Grand Canyon...

The Cactus' were in Bloom!!! Aren't they Beautiful?

Me trying to survive and breath...I don't think my body was made to backpack...

This Mesa was called the Fish Tail Mesa!!! Doesn't it look so cool? We Backpacked about 14 miles that day...

I thought that this dying Yucca Plant was so cool. So I took some photos of it and the Grand Canyon in the back ground.

We went for a short camping trip in our Toyhauler up on our local mountains. Rusty says that they are his mountains. We decided to just run away for two nights and we went fishin', Rusty caught the only fish and I think that it was like a 1/2 pounder, so we let it go for another day.

This was the lake that Rusty caught his fish in: Row Lakes...

Sexy Rusty at Specticle lake...

It was so peaceful and quiet! Such a nice and well deserved retreat.

Mr. Bo Jangles!!!

So Rusty has a new calf roping and heeling horse. Here is a video of him heeling this steers hind legs. I love this horse. I have been the one to go down to Cannonville and to work him out in our arena down there. I have just loved riding him. He is a great horse, and is just plain AWESOME at calf roping. Now getting him to hold still and calm down in the ropin' box is another story.

The Grand Get-a-Way!!!

Well Rusty and I needed to get out...I had to go to a special education training all day one Saturday and we didn't have to teach Sunbeams on Sunday, so we decided to go for a drive and this is where we ended up!!! Ain't it grand? Well of course it is, its the Grand Canyon. We didn't just go to the normal North or South entrance, we took a dirt road that pretty much heads straight South from Kanab.

I love that Rusty likes to travel. We both enjoy going for drives. In fact we both enjoy a lot of the same things, and I think that it is simply a miracle that God leads us to our significant others. I know that I was meant for Rusty and that he was meant for me. I love this handsome cowboy more than anything in the WWW (whole wide world...)

Man she is Hot!!! To bad she's taken ;)

I found this Indian Paint Brush, and it was just barely in Bloom.
Don't they look like FireWorks???

No wonder its called the Grand!!!

Happy Late Easter!

Well we went to Good Ol' Emery County lookin' for some rootin tootin fun, and guess what, We Found It!!! I absolutley had a blast, no matter what the weather was. I love spending time with my family, and I think that it was the first camping trip that we have all been able to go to since we left our home with our lovely Mother and Father Beagley. Here are just a bunch of pictures...

SILLY MOMMY!!!

We found these pretty cool indian dwellings. They were only about five miles from where we were camping. We were lucky that Derek let us camp at his farm. It was the perfect place, and was soooo much fun.

Love you Sister Smelly!!!
