Behind!

I feel like ever since Facebook came into my life...poor little blogger has been forgotten. He has definitely been placed upon the back burner. But life is going pretty good. I am pregnant with number 2! It is going to be another girl and we are struggling majorly trying to figure out a name that fits this little monkey, and that fits our little family. I am 27 weeks pregnant and growing. Names that we like are: Litzy, Shayli, Rilyn, Kezli...??? We are pretty set on Julia being the middle name because it was Rusty's Great, Great Grandma. She was a pioneer that helped settle small towns such as Hanksville, Monroe and Wellington. She had around 17 children and only 8 of them lived past the age of 7! Many of her babies would die right after birth or within two months of birth. We found this history and would like to carry on the name.

Lindi broke her leg just over a week ago...She is in a purple cast from her crotch to her toes on her left leg. It was not a brake...but a fracture. The doctor said she could go 3 to 4 weeks in the cast, but I think 3 sounds great, and 4 sounds healed!

Well I am sure that a ton more has happened since my baby girl turned one...but this is all I have the time for today. Thanks for reading!

Birthday Girl!!!

She HATED the sticky hands...and wouldn't even put a single drop of it in her mouth...LOL! Well it has really been one year on April 18th. I love this girl more than anything, and she has the best sense of Humor...She brings Rusty and I more Joy than we know what to do with. Happy Birthday Lindi Girl! Love you!

First Haircut!

So Lindi got her first hair cut sometime around the end of February...So ya! Basically I am a huge slacker! But who has time to be a Mom, Teacher and updated on Blogs??? I had to share these pictures of her haircut from her Aunt Shantel at the Shop. Shantel had this little Hot Pink Apron that fit her perfectly. I should post a picture of how well her hair is coming in now. and...I can not believe that her first birthday is this next Monday, April 18th. I promise that I will post pictures of that too.

Rusty's Big Hunt...And Rodeo!

Rusty Riding his pony while out scouting for the BIG TROPHY BULL ELK! This was taken on the Bolder mountain. Rusty, after putting in for 14 years, finally drew out on the trophy elk unit. It was the hunt of the lifetime. He will have to get on here and write the story. No elk, but he had a really good time.

She is almost SIX Months!

I can't believe that my baby girl is six months old on Monday, October 18th. Tear! I could cry because time is flying by too fast. But if I was guaranteed to have a happy baby like my Lindi Vayle EVERY time I have a child...then I might just would have 8 or so kids :) She truly is a SWEET HEART! She has a personality the color of a rainbow. I HATE leaving her and working everyday. But it is very good for my mind and depression to work and be busy.

The exhausted mommy! This is where they laid Lindi when she was born, and so she loves this position. She is only like three days old here, I think that it was our first day home, and we took an hour and a half nap like this. I love the cuddly stage.

Great Grandma Twitchell! She is 87 years old, and we are so glad that she is here to share this baby girl with us. This is Rusty's only living grandparent. I could shoot myself, because my grandpa George and Dorothy were at the hospital when Lindi was born, and I didn't get a picture of them with her... So Grandpa, if you read this and you have a picture of you with Lindi, then I need a copy...PLEASE!!!

This is Grandma Gayle!!! I was so lucky to have my mom come and stay with me the first week of Lindi's life... She helped me to become confident that I could do this! I love her with all of my heart and I am proud to tell the story of Lindi's middle name. My middle name is gayle : Trista Gayle. I wanted Lindi to be named after mom and my Grandma Vayomee, that we called Vay. So I blended them together and named her middle name Vayle!!! I love it. I love you mom, Happy Mother's Day!Grandpa Steve and Deanne! My dad is so proud of his beautiful little grand daughter. He was such a nervous wreck while I was in labor! His Baby Girl having her first Baby. I pushed for about 2 1/2 hours, and he just didn't think that things should take that long, I think that he harassed my nurses until they were ready to just come and pull the baby out of me so that he would leave them alone...Ha Ha!

Labor was as good as I thought that it could have went for the first time! I LOVE the epidural. I started contracting at 4:45 am when I started to time my contractions and they were every 6 to 8 minutes. Woke rusty up at 6:15 and told him that my contractions were every 4 to 5 minutes. So we Showered at 6:30 am and left for the hospital at 7:30. Got to the hospital at 8:30 am (yes Rusty speeded just a little, a 1 hour and 15 minute drive only took us 1 hour) when contractions were every 2 to 3 minutes and were very HARD back labor because she was turned and her nose was face up. Was finally admitted at 10:00 with the most painful part, the I.V. ! ( I am still bruised in my hand today). The doctor broke my water at 10:30 I was a 3+ and there was melanoma (spelling?), Lindi had had a bowel movement in the water. At 12:00 I was a 5+ and got the epidural, and life was great! @ 4:30 I started pushing. They had me stop pushing at 5:30 and rotate from side to side to get Lindi to finish rotating to the right position. I got a new nurse just after 6:00 and she came in and checked me and kind of asked why I wasn't pushing, because my bladder was full, and she said we needed to get the baby here now! She was a life savor and an inspiration because she had me do one hard push, and made me stop so that she could call the doctor and get him there fast! My whole family stopped Dr. Gatherum out in the hall way and said, you better get that baby here fast so that we can see her, they had been waiting in the hall for a solid 4 hours. Doctor arrived at 6:30 with a hat on that said "Stay Calm" and Lindi arrived at 6:54pm. It was such an amazing experience. I only had Rusty in the room and that is how it should have been! It was so calming and relaxing and a moment that we will never forget. I love my Husband, and I love my baby girl. She is such a good baby and sleeps a good 5 to 6 hours at night before waking up for a good hour to hour 1/2 (which isn't the greatest, but I will take it!)

It was Rusty and I's fifth anniversary on March 25th. Since I am eight months pregnant, and he with a broken wrist, we decided to take a trip down to Zion and stay for a night. It was a short trip, but I got a sub for friday and made it an extra long weekend. I can't beleive that we have been married for five years!!! I have the best husband ever and I am so lucky and blessed to be his wife. He is so excited to get our baby girl here and to be her daddy!

This is me after I swallowed a bowling ball! I love my belly! So we did get to go on a short hike to the lower ponds. It was like 1.2 miles round trip, we walked so slow, and just enjoyed being outside in some spring weather for a minute. As we were coming back and crossing a bridge this older man looked at my belly and asked "did you make it to the ponds?"
I said "we made it to the first, and lowest ponds, yes."
He replied "Well thats encouraging!"

I am so glad that a pregnant woman can be such an encouraging and inspiring figure ;)

So this picture is two weeks old and taken when I was 36 weeks pregnant! So yes, I am bigger now, and this might be the last swollen up picture that I will be posting (cross our fingers). I am scheduled to be induced on April 21st, my due date, at 1:00 am.
